I have decided to post another of my short stories on this blog. Again it’s autobiographical, but from a much earlier stage in my life. When I was 8 years old (1944) my Mum and I went to visit my Grandma for her 75th birthday. We had an unexpected visitor who gatecrashed the party – a German flying bomb. Read on.
