Charlton Kings Local History Society

Two days ago I was elected to the committee of Charlton Kings Local History Society, which was very kind of them considering that at that point I wasn’t even a member.  Charlton Kings is part of Cheltenham but until the 1960’s it was a separate local authority and has its own individual history.  The Society has published over 50 research reports, the most recent of them published this week, of a very high standard.  We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the Baptist church, close to the parish church (see below).ImageSt Mary’s church, Charlton Kings
