The literary life of EDWARD JAMES, author, reviewer, occasional poet and former pension adviser to the government of Kyrgyzstan

World Book Night

Once again I am a Giver on World Book Night (23 April).   The book I am giving away is Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith.  It was ‘the thriller of the 80’s’ and begins with the snow melting in Gorky Park in Moscow to reveal three mutilated bodies.

I will probably give some for the book trolley in Cheltenham General Hospital and I’ll consider where to give the others. This year I have only 18 books.

I’m also a Community Giver which means I can give away my own books under the WBN label.  As a book reviewer I  have plenty.Image
