The literary life of EDWARD JAMES, author, reviewer, occasional poet and former pension adviser to the government of Kyrgyzstan

Alexander the Great and the French Resistance

I now have a book reviews page on my blog.  The first book, ‘Colossus’, about Alexander the Great, has already been featured in an earlier post.  My second book is ‘Wolfsangel’  by Liza Perrat, set in Occupied France in the Second World War.

I won a copy of this book in an internet giveaway, the first time I have been so lucky.  It is published by the writers’ co-operative, Triskele. In common with all Triskele books (so far they have 13 titles) there is a page at the end inviting the reader to write a review of the book. Since I had received it for free I thought it my duty to respondImage.

I don’t publish adverse reviews on my blog, but fortunately ‘Wolfsangel’ is a very good book, as you will see if you look on my BOOK REVIEWS page.

Happy reading.
