The literary life of EDWARD JAMES, author, reviewer, occasional poet and former pension adviser to the government of Kyrgyzstan
The author I’m meeting today is Tim Leach, who writes about times and places seldom visited by historical novelists. His first two books were about ancient Lydia and his latest is about Iceland in the time of the Sagas. They all have a wonderful sense of time and place. See my interview with Tim on my page MEET TIM LEACH and see my review of The Smile of the Wolf on the Historical Novel Society website or in the August issue of Historical Novels Review.
